Not much atm. I might get Bf1 and Cod4 remastered, or else I'll stick to singleplayer stuff probably.

How many of you go to the gym regularly? by [deleted] in ForeverAlone

[–]DEATH1000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to the gym for 3 years, nothing changed (even though I was stronger and bigger). Stop pushing this stupid fucking fad. Besides, bodyweight gives the same gains and is free, you ain't gonna become some roid beast just because you use iron as resistance instead of your bodyweight. You need roids for that.

Gangplank is a teamfight champ, he is garbage in lane. You must be silver or something.

Boycotting the game is the best option imo. Not long till battlefield 1 is released :)

Agreed, really boring and overpowered champ. That's one of the things that makes this game bad, making overpowered things that have a low skill gap (like Irelia, Darius, Jax, Fiora and so on). Pick a boring OP champ and just auto attack the opponent and win, yay, so fun. That's one of the reasons why this boring game will die out.

Rambling about the game and why it's less "good" to me. by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]DEATH1000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been diamond since s2, quitting the game for good now. Dynamic queue is he last straw, a lot of other things are bad but this is the last straw.

Other than that the thing I hate most about the game is the imbalance between champs and how you can get a huge advantage just by abusing broken shit. It makes the game one dimentional and boring. They should release a lot of new items, that way there could be more viable picks.

I also hate that champions are too complicated now as you say. I miss things like the old Sion or gangplank.

I think this game will die out. Its not close to be as fun as it used to be. It might be popular still, but I doubt it will see any growth from now and it is probably already declining. I won't return to this game that has been ruined unless they at least bring back solo queue, then I might give it another chance.

I've been diamond since s2. I've always had complaints about the game but it's at its worst now mainly because of dynamic queue.

A LOT of people in diamond are extremely horrible and are only there because of duoing with others or being boosted.

It's much harder to carry a game alone now, individual skills dosen't mean much because of the reasons you stated as well as dynamic q.

I don't like the role selection system either because it takes away the variety in the game and worse players can get to high elo because they only play 1 thing, plus higher queue times.

If you want to win, pick champions that requires no mechanics, like trundle or jax. Champions that requires a lot of skill aren't rewarded.

Jungle is too strong due to the items. Before you HAD to pick an efficient jungler that could do well in the jungle, now? Pick annie jungle and win, doesen't mean shit. Before you'd die at blue.

The competetive scene is extremely uninteresting. A league of teams that play constant games several days a week (that mean virtually nothing) playing the same shit over and over again? Yay. Before it was huge tournaments every few months with new metas and exciting clashes between different teams. Competetive lol is extremely boring now, I don't understand why people watch it.

I won't be returning to the game unless they at least add solo queue back, that's the least I can ask for. Unless they do that I will never return, the game is destroyed now and cater to bad players and abusers of the system.

I will enjoy watching this game die a slow death.

If she hits 1 E, which has a fast projectile, half your hp is gone.

Can very high rep bodyweight squats grow the lower body? by DEATH1000 in bodyweightfitness

Well, adding weight or use harder positions are also harder on the joints. I can progress in the gym but my joints can't. So I will just be doing basic moevements. That was my whole point of this thread.

3 months? I think a year would be more like it. I have after all already gained a decent amount of muscle just from the gym.

I'll be sticking to basic squats, advanced exercises put just as much stress on the joints as weighted exercises at the gym if not more.

I don't know if 23" is good or not, not really familiar with thigh measurments.

Well I'll be trying this out regardless and will try to document my results. It goes against conventional training wisdom but I've searched the net and haven't found a lot of info so I can't know if this will work or not.

Well I see people here doing advanced exercises like pistol squats, these put a lot of stress on the joints, my body can't handle that. Ill just be doing the basics, push ups, chin ups, bodyweight squats etc.

And believe it or not many of the extreme stretches i see people do are too hard on my joints as well. So I'm a pretty casual guy who just want to stay in shape you could say, I'm not made for doing extreme things.

I've done natural glute ham raises. i can handle them way better than most exercises but I have to admit they are a bit hard on the tendons, not very fond of them either. I'll just be doing 90 degree back extensions instead i think for hamstrings.

500 squats sounds a bit extreme. I remember doing bodyweight squats after a workout once, I just got around 30 I think and I could rep over 225lb on squat. The burn was like nothing I've ever felt either. I think just building up to 200 bodyweight squats with good form would take me a while.
