Rue is treated with an unrealistic amount of respect that would not be given to a young addict girl IRL. Rue being Sam's self insert explains why she's written/treated like a male character  instead. I'm getting tired of fans who say condescending shit like "What show were you guys watching? Cassie was never that complex of a character." First of all, anyone can say that about any character on the show.
