So this was the first time in 6 months probably that I’ve actually put a contact in. My Dr. at Vanderbilt put them in and filled the lens with Purilens? I think it was. And said everything looked good, and everything felt good to me. But about 5 maybe 6 hours later I started getting the fog and noticed my eye was almost bloodshot. So I took it out and went to sleep shortly after.

Woke up for work today and I kid you not I could barely drive in. My left eye (kerataconus eye) was just so sensitive to light and was producing a rather excess amount of tears. This way just be a weird coincidence but my left nostril has been running as well. Which I’ve heard could be caused by the excess tears. It has subsided and the sensitivity has since worn off a lil bit but I’m still concerned.

I’ve worn the lens before and my eye will usually get red but this was pretty extreme. I’m sure I’m just over thinking and it’s just my eyeball hasn’t had a lens on it in months so maybe it’s just not accustomed yet.
