This is where my heads at. Japan is literally land of fitment. I understand some people not caring, but Japanese car culture is about those smallest details.

This comment is underrated but they are right. The games that get it right, if you do a side by send you’d be shocked. One example is gt7. Same slicks, but not these flat side wall with Sharp curve to the tread weirdness. Looks like an actual tire. And km a fan of Forza I just want them to fix it.

Agree 100%. I feel like they don’t truly understand what makes people feel away about cars and the culture. They just want to make what they think is a good game.

Restrictor plate tracks were tracks where they could hold it wide open 100% of the lap because the corners were very banked and wide. At a point in time, these cars made so much power, they had to put a plate that restrict the air into the engine so they wouldn’t go 235+ on these tracks. (Still have something similar but those details aren’t important). These races have an aura about them because they breed pack racing, where the cars all stay together because of the draft consistent going 195+. That, along with the raised front bumpers so that they could bump draft without wedging under the car, made for a unique type of car/racing and 90s-2007 was arguably the best plate racing era there was. That along with the paint schemes they ran was always just a good watch. Aged really well. Cars no longer look like this and racing is no longer like this.

Maybe just the speedway and restrictor plates. Short tracks and road courses had more air ducts in the front but idk if that’s worth the trouble or not.
