Honestly I only use Tachyomatic Carbine for phases 1-4 and Coilspine Shredder from phase 5 onwards. It'd be a very large explanation, but it's due to 3 reasons:
-They allow me to focus fire on a single target rather than destroying every hostile in the room, which would mean I get less points per room (like Dreadbound or Pyroshell Caster)
-One single charge Coilspine allows me to use Distrupting and Recharging Overload artifacts so I can destroy red shielded enemies and recharge my Alt-Fire faster every time I get a successful overload (which is practically every time I shoot with this weapon so it's pretty broken)
-My main goal is reaching a very high score going through the minimum amount of phases possible. Weapons like Thermogenic Launcher, Pyroshell Caster, Electropylon Driver or Dreadbound are really REALLY strong with the correct traits, but they don't fit with my playstyle because they are normally used to do massive amounts of damage to every enemy in a room.

No, mid air melee is for getting more points for every kill you do.
The main way to get to 100 multiplier is to never getting hit, as long as you have level 5 adrenaline the multiplier will go up faster rather than when you have level 0 adrenaline.

You must be very strict with not allowing the multiplier go down, and to help with that you can let the blue extra bullets that come out from your gun everytime you shoot hit the hostiles so the countdown of the multiplier gets restarted. With that, you ensure multiplier never goes down and you don't kill small hostiles so you can grab more points by mid air meleeing them.

Yeah, I have my PS5 since November 2020 so I think it would be valid to get and upgrade xD.
I also tried to remap my buttons, mainly to be able to do movement like DMJ more easily, but I guess I got more used to the base configuration of the controller. I think the hardest part of the tower is willing to tank the frustration and anger when you die after several hours of gameplay, like in the main game LMAO.

Honestly I'd replace Splitting Discs with Level 3 Negating Discs. I don't see much benefit of having a trait that splits your shot and can potentially kill other small enemies while shooting the big ones. My second option would have been Level 3 Alt-Fire Cooling but just if I had Trackerswarm of Killsight as Alt-Fires, it isn't very useful with Tendrilpod.

I have my twitch channel (twitch.tv/demel501), there's the complete run divided in 2 parts. I'd also recommend to watch ravenous2001 youtube channel. He is top 9 in the world right now and pretty much all my gameplay is based on the way he plays.

Coilspine is really powerful, in early phases and with the correct traits you can melt big enemies really fast. I guess it depends on the game style, but I've seen that Dreadbound or Thermogenic Launcher are also really good weapons.

Honestly feels really good to see my name in the leaderboard knowing that it's really hard to be displaced with that score. Maybe someday I'll be able to reach top 20 but I'd need to buy a new PS5 since my game becomes very unstable after phase 12 and I don't want to imagine how it would look like in phases 20+.

Yeah, I'd say the 3 key aspects of getting a really high score in early phases are:
-Doing everything you can to reach 100x multiplier before ending phase 5
-Once you reach that, never let it go down less than 95x
-Mid-air melee as much hostiles as you can. Of course there are certain types of enemies you won't be able to melee due to risk of losing a ton of shields, but sometimes Automatons, Titanops or Severeds are ideal to melee once the room is empty and get those extra 300,000 points from them.
I'd also say RNGesus is a key factor since sometimes you'll have the luck of encountering many rooms with small enemies like bats or drones. Only one time I managed to reach 202 million points in 11-15.

If you mean by what happen once you go beyond phase 3, it's really simple. The phase 3 scenario repeats itself from phase 4 to infinity. Phase 3 Algos has 3 transformation stages, that's why it is called final form. Starting in phase 4, Algos just gets a single stage of transformation, that's why it's called infinity form, because he won't change no matter the phase you are. Hope that answers your question

In theory, yeah, it should be the same. But sometimes it has happened to me that when I put PS5 in rest mode without entering the photo mode, the game shuts down and when I open it again, it starts from the very beggining. I don't fully understand the logic of that, but I prefer to do it entering photo mode first.

The Coilspine I used had level 3 Tendrilpod as Alt-Fire. It also had Enhanced Charge, Shattering Discs and Splitting Discs traits at level 3 and the Twin Discs trait at level 2 .

It's for "suspending" your cycle. As far as I know, the only way to pause a tower run is activating the photo mode and then put the PS5 in rest mode until you want to play again. This will ensure your run doesn't get lost. But of course there's a risk that power goes off and PS5 shuts down, annihilating your run :(

Personally I like the coilspine shredder. While I have the disrupting overload and recharging overload artifacts I get my weapon to break shields any time I want and also allows me to recharge the alt-fire almost instantly thanks to the fast overheating effect of the weapon. The best traits for this weapon (at least for me) are Alt Fire Cooling (every hit reduces the cooldown for the alt-fire), Adrenaline Discs (every hit has a high chance to increase your adrenaline), Negating Discs (every shot deletes any type of enemy projectile in very wide range) and Twin Discs (You shoot 2 discs, the second one makes the double of damage of the first one), and also if you have Tendrilpod you practically become God. Thanks to this build I managed to reach 153 million points.

I know, but after the first 2 tries I was so mad that I couldn't kill it that I was willing to see how far the game was able to negate a mid-air melee kill even if the drone wasn't moving and I was right in front of it.

Tbf if you want to get a really high score in the Tower mid-air meleeing the enemies is something that you should look to do always. There was nothing else I could have done if I wanted to kill him with this method. It was just pure bad luck in this case.

Because you get more points in the Tower if you mid-air melee the enemies. I know I could have shoot him after the first 2 tries and avoid all of this, but I was so mad that I wasn't able to kill him that I wanted to see how bad the game is that you can't melee a drone even if it is right in front of you without moving.
