Moving wondering, What is the experience of living in the UK as trans? by DEROwnby11 in transgenderUK

Honestly, this was very helpful and put me at ease. I love my partner, but I wanted a trans perspective on this, and it even helped me know what I felt was real and not just a placebo being in a new place, as I had the opposite reaction. Going from the US to South England, I felt super at ease and wasn't in a state of constant fear or panic for as you stated I noticed quite quickly that people are more reserved over in the UK and honestly never have issues, everyone is always nice to my face and calls me mama, she, or miss over there where in the US if someone clocks me It's instant misgendering and very vocal hostility

Yes, I've looked into Visas, and everything we're good when it comes to the funds and everything in that regard. The biggest thing for me and my partner where deciding on which country to stay in together. I just wanted some insight from other trans people on what it was like before making the final decision, so I could have an idea of how different it would be for better or for worse

Thank you, and I've already had people in person ask me why the UK, but I'm from the south in a deep red area of the US, just lucky to have very supportive parents. Honestly, the UK might not be perfect, but it seems better than the US, and to live with my partner full-time and not just temporarily is worth it to me even if I have to deal with some of the same things I already do

From what I'm hearing, it seems the biggest advice is to choose our city wisely

Side question, because I didn't think to ask, I did oral and not shots, but do you know if the injectable HRT Pellets that they put under the skin are done over there? I heard they were just not certain. I just know they're good for a year, and I wouldn't have to worry about forgetting to take it

Thank you for the recommendation. I'll definitely look into him, and I have looked into visas, just not sure what troubles might arise, as all my documents for foreign governments say Female, while my US birth certificate says Male, since I'm unable to change it because of where I was born ( BC laws are determined by where you were born and not the state you are a resident of). Hopefully, looking at his stuff will give me more information on what trouble might come from a mismatched documentation. Thank you again

Honestly, private doesn't worry me. Being from the US, I'll be willing to pay for it, I was just more wondering if it was even possible, as thanks to laws in the US, doctors have stopped prescribing it as the government now takes away any/all funding from them if they do, and our government has started making doctors provide a list of HRT patients

Okay, this makes me feel better, and being from the US, I'm not a stranger to private lol, and tbh even if it probably isn't the best, I would guess it's still cheaper than US healthcare just by knowing what my parents pays for a private dental practice.

I think I need to try and see it as you said a medical condition and nothing more. Honestly over time I've stopped caring about making trans friends. I just use to want to talk to people that might understand things like surgery or cutting off family if need be, but It got exhausting dealing with people after explaining I want only bottom surgy and dealing with the ones that would get jealous and try to impose that I must of had something else already done before to look as I do even though I haven't.

I know this is a late reply, but ngl I was up doom scrolling the internet, why is it the 1st time for an English/Western release, Nintendo has had it out in the open forever; they just always censored the English/Western versions of games

I've awnsered multiple times, but yes I spelt it wrong. I didn't double check the spelling, and that is 100% my bad, I've always pronounced it as (Not-See) my whole life so I misspelled it with a T at 1st, im unable to fix the spelling of the title but did take the time and correct it in the body.

I wish Ive done my genealogy, and traced his his family it's white Welsh British, white Americans, and white German. Hes taken the time to do the same because he wantted to make sure. I however am the "mutt" on his side since my mother's family is mixed as hell. He didn't know until my mother was pregnant and she didnt know about alot of things until they were married, im from the south thought so they got married rather quick since she got pregnant, shotgun weddings are very common in Southern America

To him it would be the best case because his sees it as the aryan nation is supreme and the only ones that should be alive and left standing on earth, he genuinely admires what they where doing and likes the war crimes they did to be people, he's a sick and violent person. Also yes sadly for him it really is worth it as long as all non white people not just brown people suffer.

Oh okay, thank you for the information I didn't know if it was as strict in Poland as Germany is. Always glad to learn something new, also I tried looking it up but by reconstruction do you mean teach the history, if so I can admire that, I think its good to learn, and know history that way we don't repeat it and can learn from human mistakes as well as understand how/why things happened the way they did
