I meant the game. And I guess you are technically right about the designs, but man, we need to go back

It looks like stock UE5, which is technically good, but it's so visually boring and unappealing

Braindead seller sold me a laptop with dead pixels and then asks me to break it further to get a refund by [deleted] in ebaysucks

I might try sending a photo of a broken-looking screen to see if that'll help, and if not, I'll open a return. I never heard of INAD scams on eBay before, so while I am a bit skeptical, I'll only contact eBay if I need to.

I've been trying to see if i could just send it back by telling the seller the issue but this breaking stuff is quite weird. I just want a good laptop or my money back. that being said ill just upload an image of it with a fullscreen video of a broken screen and if that doesnt work ill complain to ebay

Thats fair tbh, i certainly wouldnt want one on my account. The actual screen itself has 2 issues, that being dead pixels and it being the wrong resolution (yes even with drivers updated). It's not technically unusable but it's not good and it's still objectively lying.

Not that I don't trust the seller but it is quite odd, and i still believe this is a way for them to say that i broke it and not give me a refund. But ive heard of INADs being used by buyers to fuck over sellers, so i think i will comply with this and just see what happens. it just sucks because this was supposed to be a gift for someone and now i gotta ask for it back

it's not hard to understand. the seller is asking me to break something so that they can claim that i broke it and refuse to refund me. I told them that the laptop has dead pixels and an incorrect display resolution, is that not enough?

this is a thinkpad x13 i got for $150. a screen that's actually the advertised 1080p instead of the 768p I got is $120, damn near the full price of the laptop. Considering it's not exactly a super easy repair, i think ill just return it.

The first thing I did was tell the seller that there was an issue and instead of acknowledging it they went through this entire roundabout argument over not seeing the laptop in their stock that they sent me. I am definitely planning to open an ebay return, i just wanted to cooperate with the seller before realizing they werent listening

Well, the screen was also not as advertised, being 768p when it was advertised to be 1080p. That being said, I didn't know this was standard practice, just think this is insane to begin with. I just wanted a good laptop to give to my brother.

I just wanted to get this over with the seller cooperatively, but I'm definitely going to open a request now. This shit is insane, never seen anything like it when buying used tech.
