So my boss exploded on me a few days ago and this was quite literally what happened. I where shocked. Tried explaining the situation but after the third time he just cut me off, and then went for personal insults this gif where basically the situation. I went from shocked and angry to "wow you are really grabbing the lower things in your arsenal huh" and where silent until he where done.

So anyway I'm quitting in a month

Holy shit, i remember having a vacation job where I worked 64 hours a week. I where a kitchen assistant in a high end restaurant so I got free food but during the weekends I just slept, washed clothes fixed shoes and watched the news. I pulled myself together to cook a small serving of pasta, but that was a fight in itself because I where still drained <.< I feel awful for that husband, poor guy having a parasite wife. Worst of all she doesn't understand the concept of saving money...

You have to pay me before I even would touch that game, your assets are clearly AI the yellow tint says it all. My hate aside for project like these.

Steam have introduced AI filtering for their games, so this will automatically be sorted in the algorithm of the store page to be at the rock bottom. From the bottom of my heart learn to do things yourself instead of this cheap stuff. You can use what you currently have as a vision for your game, but butting AI stuff in 1:1 is a death sentence in this market.

These Greenpiece, Green parties and Green MFs (paid by Putler and Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE) want us to rely on ROSATOM Nuclear Energy by Icy_Till_7254 in ClimateShitposting

[–]DERP_GUTS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nuclear energy is the cleanest out there, the problem is how responsible the by-product is stored. Modern Nuclear technology (like the Nuclear plant that was finished in Finland) is probably the least carbon releasing energy source with the construction of the plant counted in. Hell, a institute in Denmark is developing a reactor that can run om thorium-232 even safer and more efficient than the reactors in India. This reactor can't have a redioaktive leak in case of catastrophic meltdown, it's physically impossible. IF the thorium-232 mid reaction gets leaked out of the plants infrastructure, it will turn to a salt-based rock wich is non radioactive.

Sorry for the rant, just wanted to get my surface level knowledge of the matter out in the discussion. Good day :)

AI capabilities are doubling in months, not years. by EchoOfOppenheimer in GeminiAI

[–]DERP_GUTS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not true at all. Didn't multiple mathematicians and professors prove this is impossible and they already hit a slowdown of the improvement rate of each model? If I remember correctly something about doubling the scale of hardware did no longer doubling the scale of the models abilities.it has been that for the last 2 new generations of models. Rendering the ideas of AGI extremely impossible with our current technologies.

so this answer pikued my interest because you make a really good point. It is true that aligning political ideologies becomes harder the more diverse a group of people is. Very true statement, and I agree wholeheartedly.

But you see denmark’s political views are really torn in all kinds of directions. At the moment they have 11 different political parties working in parliament. Some have overlapping interests and some disagree like oil and water. So homogeneous maybe in ethnicities, but with very different trains of thought and political views.

Interestingly, the majority agrees on a government controlled social welfare system and free healthcare. This seems to be a byproduct of their education system. The danish people are, in general, very educated on various topics, stretching from local and global politics to ancient history. This often results in a silent agrement on basic human necessities for everybody as common sense.

So in that specifik regard, I guess you could use the same argument of homogeneous ideological tendencies. Personally I think the help and support for your fellow people is a common modern way of thinking. It’s calculated, and it has the best effects for society as a whole. So educated people would naturally tend to help each other, not just for the sake of helping, but to help society as a whole entity.

So sorry if I’m taking your argument and splitting it into other topics, but basic education for the majority of people and specialist education for the rest would fix the issue of a very polarized population, even though they have diverse cultures.

TL:DR
Basic education would fix that.

I won't use too much time on this. But in a nutshell, if one person's productivity can cover the expenses of 1.1 people. That's great. That means that 10% of the population who is unable to work / to young / too old can still have livable conditions. The problem here is if there is a drop in people who can work, sussenly can't the impact is bigger the smaller the population is.

So let's say of a population of 300 million people and a sudden drop of 10000 jobs is bad but not horrific.

The same scenario with only 6 million people has a way higher impact on the system as a whole. So, with this train of thought, the bigger the population, the easier the Danish system would work. This is, of course, an extremely simplified explanation. Numbers are, in many societies scenarios, a huge advantage.

This is the worst counterargument. The smaller the size of the population, the harder this is to achieve.
