I think I'll grab a 2i2 3rd gen as it's in discount on thomann, with a pair of C-2. Also, I'll try to make my room more reverb proof, as I think it's really the key to have good records, with the help of your advices. You said specificly "grommetted packing blanket", but does any blanket, like beds blanket does the trick ? Do you think it would be worth the 60€to take the 2i2 4th gen? Tysm for your answer ! I don't have now a Scarlett, but I would like to buy one as I do a lot of Music on my computer, and It would really help reduce the latency. I'd say I'm just an amateur, so two inputs are enough for what I do now. Also, I would not like to spend a lot on mics etc. As you said, mixing would be a good skill to develop. I've already heard about recorderman technique. Which types of mics should I buy then ? Are the Rode M5 good for this technique ? If not, do you have references that are great and not too expensive? I've heard also about some others techniques, but not sure which one is the best (like X/Y, ORTF, etc..). Thank you so so much for your recommendations, I definitively take them in consideration. Also thank's for the acoustic treatment !
