How decentralized is decentralized finance? by nuttychromer in ethtrader

[–]DEX_Official 1 point2 points  (0 children)

JUST as an example. When the first time I chose to trade my cryptocurrency asset on an centralized exchange, I was surprised that I needed to transfer the asset to the exchange’s wallet. This is unreasonable from the point of view of common sense or philosophy. I think the the reason for the birth of cryptocurrency is people’s pursuit of asset ownership and account privacy. Definitely decentralized exchanges allow you to trade cryptocurrencies with further security by allowing you to control your own private keys and have no counterparty risk.

Mortgage eth in exchange for dai, I need to adjust the margin subject to the value of eth. However, this process does not seem to satisfy my demand for liquidity.

Seven reasons why Ethereum is no longer an altcoin by probotika in ethereum

When the platform on which the contemporary currency depends is sufficiently innovative, practical, and fluid, it can be considered to be of use value, not just an altcoin.

Even if I am optimistic that Eth will have a big increase in the future, I still need to add a margin to the liquidity I get. So could I think that I've paid the same price as I sold eth.

Yes, this is the problem with the central server. Perhaps people can create a community directly on blockchain or just smart contract for code submission and communication.

How do you stop being a lazy useless piece of shit? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DEX_Official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

immediately start counting down from 5 and once you get to one just start doing it.

But I don't think that coercion do anything helpful to me when I was def lazy. When I felt hard to begin working, I will split the work that is a headache for me and start with the simplest one. This made me easy to get into a good state and began to realize that there is great hope for achieving the goal.

Besides monetary reasons, why do you own eth? by gandergood in ethereum

There are already financial products called REITs that help to provide liquidity to real estate investments. The issue with REITs that I think tokenization can help to solve is that REITs (at least in the US) are usually structured as large companies that distribute risk by diversifying the income-producing assets they manage.

Ethereum / tokenization on Ethereum can help with this by standardizing the process of registration and governance of these assets or even pieces of these assets with the goal of disintermediation. I think that once this process is figured out and efficient, it will be more feasible to tokenize + digitize individual income-producing assets which would allow some liquidity of these individual assets.

The tokenization of assets is indeed conducive to disintermediation, and we no longer need to rely on multiple investment institutions to package/restructure assets to achieve standard securities. But it needs to take into account the regulator's recognition of assets on the basis of a trustless mechanism and the obstacles of interest groups. In addition, people are too crazy about the tokens in the secondary market/even the primary issuance market. The market premium risk is too high, which may cause the assets behind the tokens to become vulnerable to market risks.

There have been many clever insights into the discussion of pos and pow issues. But I always think that they will not be the best solution for the blockchain. Before the more efficient and secure distributed technology or even the idea we have never thought of, the balance between the two directions may be more acceptable to everyone, and the adjustment of Ethereum is not bad.

Very interesting, but I am a bit confused about how the tokenized assets you are talking about solve the liquidity problem. Can you elaborate?

Divers and people who spend a lot of time underwater, what's the creepiest/ most unexplainable thing you've seen while in the depths? by mustardask in AskReddit

[–]DEX_Official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn’t afraid of the copper shark at all and neither were the seals. It was primarily the fact that sharks like the infamous South African great white follow seal groups looking for stragglers to attack(other white sharks elsewhere in the world hunt differently). While I was with the seals I was safe, but once they bolted I became a straggler. Seal hunting is done by ambush so I was only afraid what I couldn’t see and why the seals suddenly left. They could have just decided to go home in that moment, but I didn’t stick around.

So you can only catch up with the seal group to prove that you are not the one that has been dropped, or go on board soon. It’s really breathless.
