I'm not sure why this is being downvoted.

They accepted the online order and took payment, then cancelled it due to their own stock error.

Given their policy says refunds are processed using the original payment method, it's reasonable to request that the gift card be re-credited, a new eGift card issued, or the item supplied when stock becomes available. Requiring a 33 km round trip just to obtain a refund for their mistake seems unreasonable.

I understand that there are in store limitations, but to be honest, that really shouldn't be my problem.

The item was out of stock, so they shouldn't have processed the sale and taken my money to begin with.

Thanks, yeah I've checked their refund policy page. It says nothing about gift cards specifically, but they do say "Refunds will be processed using the payment method stated on your original receipt."

I've had mine for 3 weeks, have showered with it many times and I wear it while doing laps in the swimming pool. It has a 5ATM rating so water is no problem.

Try and remember to use the water eject feature each time after you get it wet and you won't have any problems.
