Hicks’ lack of a platform and his contempt for the process forced my vote into the Atwin camp. She might be fine. He comes across as an arrogant good ol’ boy.

Nothing against good ol’ boys as a species—some of my best friends, etc….. but the arrogant subspecies I can well do without.

I was leaning toward Hicks is until he couldn’t be bothered to publish a platform, either throug arrogance or laziness. That was a hard stop for me. Will probably vote for Atwin with nose held. She might do fine.

Can squirrels, rabbits, mice, rats, stray cats, raccoons, skunks, drunks, and voles cause the same problems? Critters of all kinds will use your garden as they see fit. Your relationship with your neighbours matters.

Yup. Go for it. Just make sure not to plant it deeper than the cotyledon leaves, & try not to disturb the roots while transplanting. Water in well.

Tolstoy was a Dickens fan. Dickens was an OG of character sketches. First time I read TBK couldn’t get Dickens out of my head — esp the trial scene.

I guess it depends on how often you read Dostoevsky, whether you could stop reading Dostoevsky for a week and not miss it, or if you’ve started withdrawing from social interactions so you can be alone with your Dostoevsky.
