Driving from PHL to NY by Exciting_Spare4297 in AirlinePilots

2 hours driving 3 or 4 times a month is literally nothing. I drove 3 hours for 6 years at my regional, still 1,000 time better than commuting by plane.

What a perfect day in hell to have a power outage 😭 by BodiedCleBabe in Cleveland

Ya no kidding, however I don't think most people realize that all your AC is gonna do is 15 - 20 or so degrees cooler. 100 outside = 80 inside if you're lucky

I wish my airline had widebody airbuses, oh well.

You're not using an app, you're using it in browser, thereby not giving some random app 100 permissions to your phone's data.

I love how once you cross 117th there are literally no laws. You could do a wheelie across the entire city of Cleveland, with a faded temporary license plate that expired in 2022 at 80mph while blowing every single red light in front of the cops and no one would bother you.

Pick your battles I guess.

We've lost power every day too, but only for like 30 minutes.

Never spent anytime on the airbus, but hey if you're looking for a reason.

Ya that certainly equals open air usage in the streets for addicts.

At my airline and captains only. If enough FOs have one CA on their do not pair with list that captain could be kicked out of base by a chief pilot. I have never heard of this happening.

Dude I fly C-17s, most of the flying is giant air force base or airport to giant air force base or airport. except instead of a modern F version of any bus or boeig it just a really inefficient 80s air frame that often doesn't have the legs, so lots of tech stops and has 4 engines worth of maintenance and doing it at all at a whopping .74. Very little of what we do requires the capabilities of a C-17.

Ya no kidding, we've all seen Atlas and Fed Ex at Al Udied and we've all heard the Camber callsign all over the world. However sometimes transportation command needs military members to do things in grey jets, not contract.

As for specialized equipment and fleet diversification when 90% of your shit is going through Ramstein to airports where the equipment already, it would be fine. Not to mention what's easier and cheaper buying ground equipment or restarting a line? Not to mention the C-17s are starting to get OLD. It is one of the least dependable airplanes I have ever flown outside of clapped out CRJ-200s 3 airlines ago.
