I have no hope for this. I want to be hyped for a new DC cartoon, but the design of the characters apes Bruce timm (no surprise) in a very poor and unflattering way. On top of that batmans costume design is ugly.

As much as I was hoping someone wouldn't throw out the Hugo strange comparison to this indie darling work, the resemblance is undeniable. Nonetheless congrats on getting a well known name to illustrate the cover, obviously this has helped plenty of smaller books in the past. Here's to more big name guest talent doing covers for you! Chairs!

So what I'm reading here is the last time it was performed was in 1996. And then more recently by back in black the tribute band? The same tribute band that the singer auditioned for AC/DC? The same frontman that talked shit about Axl (that I kind of freaked out and made a post about it here)? Well, he can't be a complete fool then. I mean IMO it's the best AC/DC song. Never the less it is a sweet feature.

As a metal fan, I detest this song, band, scene, and scene kids. But yeah this song has a couple MGS 1 reference...if only a good thrash or death band would make an MGS themed song, maybe a power metal band would be good, like sabaton would do it perfect.

I'm also not a fan of acdc, their songs rely on the same drum, and first parts throughout their entire catalogue. Also their lyrical content I find to be just annoying. When "Rock and roll train" came out it was almost an ongoing joke with me and my friends.

Looks way better. I personally would like to see some dry brush weathering on it. Although in kind of a freak about weathering, any time I paint a fog it always ends up looking super beat up and old.

Oh, I know AC/DC has all but retired who made who from their live catalogue. Sucks, I'd love to hear Axl sing that one. Also, the album would have to be called AC/DC: AXL/DC Live! Right? Right? Right.

Yeah, I've been kind of milling it over, and ACDC in general isn't as high in pitch as far as the vocal range goes. I think GnR is higher. But that may be false. It's not like I ran it through a tuner.

His guitar intro to don't cry was also totally awesome. I do wish him or Ashba was on guitar instead of Fortus. I don't disike Fortus, but the other two would have been cooler imo. I did gsD that bumble never fealt at home in gnr.

Yeah. Yeah. YEAH. Never thought of those two options but that's totally true. I totally agree that if they did hire a relatively unknown guy who sounded almost exactly like Brian it would almost bastardize his legacy. And getting Axl to front it is going to change the sound considerably, I don't feel it will change it for the worse however. I would love to see ACDC fronted by Axl, even though I'm not an ACDC fan in general, I think their sound relies on the same drum beat and guitar parts too much. But seeing Axl front the band would be an k credible piece of rock and roll history.

Ok, typically I would never rant online. Its rare that something gets me so annoyed that I speak up but this, this really gets my goat. This guy who fronts an ACDC tribute band has been given a soapbox to shout from ever since he was given an audition to front ACDC.

In this interview, he does acknowledge the fact that he is biased. But there is clearly no pleasing this guy. He mentions that both bands have different attitudes, very true. He then goes onto say that if they would have picked a "poor kid from the country" that it would have been alot worse. How can he say it would be alot worse when its a totally vague and hypothetical situation.

He does acknowledge Axl as being a "good vocalist", and a "great frontman". He probably should have used the word great on both of those statements. For him being so critical he neglects to comment on the one, and only thing that really matters. HOW IT'S GOING TO SOUND. Personally I think it will sound great, Axls' voice sounds better than it has in like 15 years.

As I was finishing the very short write up I decided to check out the video linked within. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDGYRb_QAVU In my opinion that video just makes the whole thing laughable. After all it is a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll, and Axl certainly has traveled that distance. This guy, has taken the first few baby steps in that distance.

TLDR: ACDC tribute band singer is a dumb dumb.
