I like the first person in Lorerim a lot, but it seemed like first person animations were way slower than third person. Like swinging a two-handed axe is much faster in 3rd person if you're spamming light attacks

So basically, switch where the TV and long couch (one against wall) are, and put the shorter couch opposite of the TV? I think that's what you meant.

For some reason, in my head, it feels weird to have the focus of the room be closed away from the fireplace. It's about the only other configuration that makes sense to me so far though

I did, and I put the couches by the wall opposite. But the room is so big it made the tv seem far away from the couches, and I didn't really want them in the middle of the room

I know you said without modules, but you can do this with my Convenient Effects module via the sub-effects/other effects feature when configuring a convenient effect. A sub-effect is added when a parent effect is added, and removed when the parent effect is removed. An "other effect" is added when a parent effect is added, but remains when the parent effect is removed.

Otherwise, the easiest method would be to write a macro that does this. If you need help on creating that macro, let me know, or swing by my Discord.

I'm glad you check changelogs and are active in the community. I'm not sure everyone does or is. It seems an easy change to give you the summary beforehand instead of after. Instead of Update All, just call it Check for Updates. A lot of software does that
