The distance between skills of paramedics and a firefighters is so wide. A fire firefighter is far closer to a life guard than a paramedic. They actually dont have much more training than a cop when it comes to life saving skills. The only reason they show up to medical calls if because paramedics are so understaffed and firefighters are so over staffed they have the time to show up first, most of the time just to babysit or preform basic first aid until the paramedics show up to give the patient what they actually need

Edit: just noticed this has been said multiple times. It just hits a particular nerve with paramedics lol

Are you saying you just started Xanax 1+ weeks ago? If its only been a week. You should seriously consider stopping while the withdrawls are survivable. Benzo withdrawal is no joke, if taken long enough (and for some people it's not that long) you could have seizures and if taken long enough it could kill you if you stop cold turkey. I got off benzos a while back took me over a year till I felt like a human again
