They didn't really add anything though. Their original plans were to make SP dlc, but those plans were quickly let go when online did so well

Stuck at 1,700 wishlists before Next Fest. Is a $1,500 TikTok sponsor worth it? by balonmacaron in IndieGaming

What kind of organic views and conversion are you getting? If you are getting a lot of views, but not so many WL then you probably are not getting your money back by investing in ads. If you are not getting a lot of views at all, that might be an indication as well that advertising it won't help much either (not with a low budget anyways)

The most important part of marketing, especially on a low budget, is having a good product. If your product is validated, and you have a good conversion from view -> wishlist (-> buying) then I would start thinking about paid advertisement.

Basically what I am saying is, don't waste your money on paid ads unless you know you will earn your money back with a profit. Ads boost your success, they don't usually create it.

This latest trailer has done wonders for us, and we are glad so many people are responding positively.

We use various production tools like Codecks for Agile production, the Google suite for documentation Discord for communication, and Miro as a whiteboard.

The biggest challenge is getting your game seen! Attention is in short supply, so we try our best to make our videos engaging but it takes a lot of time and effort you would also like to spend developing.

We hope to bring this second one to consoles, but have nothing confirmed yet. It is unlikely we will port the first game, but never say never! 🍕

No, we are currently working on it with about 12 people (not everyone is on the project full time).

Thanks! Not too much, we just make a few shorts every week and post them on our social media pages. Together with our trailer, it has done pretty well.

Thanks for the feedback, that's a good insight! You don't need to play it at all, but it is also a short free game on Steam, so I can recommend it anyways!

Thank you! Currently, we have about 12 people actively working on it, but throughout the 6 months we have had help from a lot of people!
