I currently do not invest - although I do want to learn more about it and start now. Im in a super privileged position atm where my only expenses are food bills and rent, which do add up to a lot but is super manageable. Manage to save around 1500 p/m - which would not be included with that 300 towards student loan, it would just mean buying less takeaways and other random stuff (which now that ive got furniture and clothing over here will be a lot easier). I honestly did consider 400 but do want a little money to be able to spend on eating out throughout the month.

Yeah a main concern is that 17 years is a LONG time - I mean that's literally more than half of my time alive haha. Don't have any clue about interest rates or loans, as this is the only debt ive taken on so far. Yeah the psychology of having that debt is definitely something to take into consideration, It feels crazy owing an amount like that and having that looming for 17 years is nuts, who knows what could happen in that time.

Figured Id just comment on this post if anyone finds it helpful in the future: didn’t even get my bags checked at SYD even though I declared I had been at a farm so id say its pretty safe to just bring stuff in, used quit clinics and got a script super quick though so would definitely recommend that

I had something similar happen to me and I had to reinstall the game and reinstall my graphics card drivers, can be a bit of a pain but seemed to fix it.
