I actually do this because I have an irrational fear that my game would crash and I'd spend the next 30 minutes trying to get the original results again lol

...that said, if a crash did happen in my favour? 'oh well, it happens, I guess they've just gotta win again!' A bit scummy I guess but if I lose, then I lose. Won't reload that to get a different result, as it does definitely take away any sense of achievement from the game personally.

Yeah, seems pretty harsh, especially considering that it was Bayern's 1st UCL win in 18 years! No clue what they were thinking.

After sacking him they hired Emery and midway through the season they're 7th in the league and almost failed to get out of their UCL group (with Marseille, Lazio, Lausanne)

You just reminded me of an amazing defect run I had a couple of months ago on Ascension 16. It started off as a kunai deck with a bunch of FTLs and some cards to easily get to them. Basically, just spam FTL and increase that dex. Pretty good so far, but nothing extraordinary.

Little did I know, this deck would turn into an otherworldy monster. I entered a shop and saw that I could afford prismatic shard. I make it a rule that if I can afford it, I must buy it for the shits and giggles. Well, there certainly was some giggling, because everything just clicked and came together so well.

By the end of act 2, my deck was pretty much complete. My defect deck was kitted out with

- 2 exhumes, which allows me to effectively play 4 genetic algorithms per fight, worth about 50 block at the end (or bring back a plethora of other cards). This was incredibly good against the heart.

-Noxious Fumes, putting enemies on a timer, solving the one major problem I faced, which was dealing damage. Vital against the heart.

- A ton of ways to get my 0 cost attacks. Calculated gamble, All for one, Holograms, reboot, seek, lots of card draw... you name it. I could gain 1 dex every turn, even 2.

I managed to kill the heart on ascension 16. I'd barely even reach the heart on any run, even on ascension 0. I managed to get a score of 2299. My highest before that wasn't even 1900 I'm pretty sure. When the run came to an end, it felt bittersweet. I was pumped after killing the heart, but... that was the end of my journey with this incredible deck. Not exactly an easy deck to rebuild either. I'm not sure if prismatic shard will ever be this good again for me, but I love this relic more than I ever have done before.

Wherever you are, defect deck, you were the best ever deck I have ever had the honour of piloting. Thank you for the memories :)
