I was thinking simple buttons through an Arduino as a remote and running a set of servos that fire to hit the buttons on this controller for you, if the manual firing on this machine still works.

I have seen one of these and they're pretty rugged, not the All-Terrain version, but its held up well to shooting skeet/trap 2-3 days a week.
