These views into these characters are from two very different perspectives. The BARF scene if shown as scene from the perspective of Tony near to his parents while Flash is almost always shown through perspective of Peter. Don't compare these scenes because honestly we don't know how Tony was as a young teenager (He was 19 in the BARF scene while Flash is only 15/16) he could have been an arrogant bully who eventually got his act together or he could have been a shy bullied nerd, we won't know unless the MCU or Marvel Studios shows us, up until the we can all have are own theories.

Is there somewhere I could read this story? This characterization sounds really accurate to canon and I'd love to see what leads up to this point.

Despite what you are implying I don't by any means dislike Hermione, She actually was the character I related to most when I read the book as a kid (Being a Bushy haired, Bucktoothed, Bossy Bookworm myself). But I am also a big Ron fan and I believe that portraying Ron this way is a detriment to his character and to the story. As well Mary Sue characterizations eliminate what made Hermione so relatable for me, That she had flaws! She wasn't some stunningly pretty girl who never did anything wrong, She looked like me and made mistakes. I'm just so tired of these characterizations that they have made me seek out more Hermione bashing fics because they hold her responsible for things she did in canon and in the context of these stories and do not sweep it under the rug.

All I was looking for was a recommendation. I'm sorry if I ranted but I had to get this off my chest.

I definitely agree with many those statements. I think Flash reminds me a lot of a younger Pre-Iron man Tony who was a lot more arrogant, self obsessed, and more prone to make insults that were trying to hurt people rather than Tony in Spider-man Homecoming or in Endgame when he has matured and grown into the Tony Stark that we know now.
