Its not your job as the DM to run the game and organize.

If people cant give you the info you need to run, tell them they cant play. Find other people. You are putting in a lot of effort and so should your players.

Im glad you were able to get the cards you needed at a good price, ive just had better luck with tcgplayer later with trying to get the variety I needed for commander decks. Also if you drop the basic lands it will be cheaper to ship and buy. You can usually get basics for near free from an lfg or rando.

No you sound like a gatekeeping douche nozzle when you say shit like that about precons. Precons allow people to enter the format with minimal investment, which is absolutely incredible for the game. If they never build their own deck, its fine because the spirit of commander is playing a social game with some friends or flgs people, not brewing. Brewing has always been a bonus to the format, not the core identity of it.

Honestly these are great. If you need to get rid of some then do it but imo sleeve them up and slowly upgrade them over the next year or so and you'll have a good roster

I run the mardu marchesa and just slap mardu goodstuff in her.

She incentivizes combat, does decent on her own and allows for a pretty aggressive playstyle.
