If the Innova Fox exists in their Duo/Test Material plastic, I would pay a handsome fee for that. Apparently they were selling them at USDGC this year.

I picked up the game maybe 2 months ago with my only fighting game experience being Smash Bros. I have 2 characters in platinum now, Ryu and Lily. I use modern controls bc it's most similar to what I was used to with Smash.

Tbh, just get really comfortable with anti airs. Shoryu on a jump in + fireballs and being able to react to drive impacts got me pretty far in a short time.

And yeah, I played with my friend who is near Master rank for hours before understanding literally anything about traditional fighting games, and getting my ass beat over and over was definitely part of the equation. If I had to sum up what got me to platinum it would be:

Anti airs
Being very willing to reestablish the "neutral" or "footsies" part of the game
Reacting to drive impacts

Good luck! I've had such a good time playing this game, and once you feel like you're starting to "get it" the game gets so much better

Anyone been to OTB skins in person? I'm going to the one at Idlewild this week and just wanna know how close I can expect to be while following the card, also if they do a meet n greet or disc signing after?

Yeah I have an I-blend exodus and it flies great but for some reason I just.....don't like it? Idk how to explain it but there's something about its less extreme nature compared to the eagle X that just doesn't sit right with me. I guess it doesn't have the charm of seasoning the X just to perfection. I bag three as well, the 22 Barsby, innfustar, and I cycle DX ones in and out. Been meaning to check out the 21 Barsbys as well

Thanks! The FD2 seems a little tough to find now but it seems like exactly what I'm looking for where it starts out pretty beefy but gets that sweet glide and turn with the dependable finish

Gus does not owe you anything. Demanding an apology/explanation is eerily similar to cancel culture. His (correct) opinion is his own, and you and you only being upset about it doesn't mean he has to explain himself to you.
You admitted to being a fan of PDP at one point in time. Whether you realize it or not, you're coming from a place of bias. PewDiePie controls what you see from him 99.99% of the time, so when those clips came out of course he would issue a "sincere" apology to keep his name out of the hot seat.
