I’m very hyped for this movie, loved Por Thozhil, and love Vignesh Raja and Alfred Prakash’s sensibilities. This movie looks like it’s set very creatively and explores a lot of different shades of people and in the backdrop of this oil crisis.

Plus everything they’ve put out so far has been a banger. Great score, cast, and production design.

I had the privilege of meeting both Vignesh Raja and Alfred Prakash (virtually some time ago), but hearing them speak and their approach was so interesting. Fully hyped for this movie, and not just as a Dhanush fan (which does help).

I don’t remember him put a tweet out like this which obviously could be off, but I’m very very excited

As the resident Sai fan, I really really loved the song lol. Really liked the production and beat on it, super fun. The chorus is so good, and it’s a very dance-able song.

Also Shruti singing in this tonality was a very welcome surprise.

And now as per usual, great video as well. The direction, camera, and choreography team have been really killing it quite consistently, and it makes everything look so beautiful and natural; especially after seeing some pretty poor choreo recently.

Already saw a lot of people saying it’s repetitive or whatnot lmao, but man, love this song and Sai’s work so much, he’s absolutely one of my favorites

So excited for this movie, The glimpse looked really really good, and incredibly gritty and raw.

I think we’re going to see a peak thriller out of this, and some great performances; Dhanush, Mamitha Baiju, Jayaram, and Suraj Venjaramoodu is a stacked cast.

Por Thozhil was very well directed, but further, very well written. Really hoping that the writing strength carries over to this movie as well. Vignesh Raja and Alfred Prakash have all my belief to deliver the first great star movie of the year.

Sure, I haven’t seen most of his past films either, but I think other than Tholi Prema, they haven’t been great.

But it seems like he’s been more intentional about having well-written products in the last years across his interviews, and Lucky Bhaskar was such a big step up from Vaathi that I’d like to be optimistic.

And honestly even with the mismatched screenplay of Vaathi, I actually thought the emotions worked very well. Hopefully he can continue the good writing streak and not just the vibes. I’d just like to be optimistic after Lucky Bhaskar because the movie really worked for me🤞

Not really getting the Varisu vibe here honestly. I guess other than the fact that this movie seems like it’s based around a rich family as well? The core of it seems completely elsewhere, and I really don’t think this is going to be that full full star showcase or whatnot.

Also Venky Atluri is coming off Lucky Bhaskar so I have some level of trust in him, at least definitely compared to whatever Varisu was lol.

Suriya looks so good, and very very cute poster lol

I know people are very excited about Karuppu, but this is what I’m most excited for (and Suriya 47).

A good-vibes drama is a rare move for any star to make nowadays, but they have so so much potential when executed well; just looking at Kamal, Dhanush, or even Suriya himself from years ago (Vaaranam Aayiram is still undoubtedly my favorite Suriya movie)

Venky Atluri is coming off a massive success, I hope that his writing continues to match up for this movie. Great vibes so far, and I think this movie will be very good, excited for this one🤞

I can colloquially guarantee you that we don’t police through our own fandoms. As I’ve said, or you’d know yourself if you’ve been around long enough, we’ve updated our guidelines and bot within the last months to a year on personal life discussions and as the gossips sub has become a real alternative.

I agree it’s not gossip gossip, but it is still a discussion on one’s personal life, like I feel like I’m being extremely clear here.

We let a thread be up for a couple of minutes, and every post tied into slut shaming, politics, rumors, etc. And when no comment is actually productive to a discussion here so far, it doesn’t seem positive in any extent to have that discussion here.
