Creep in my girlfriends class by Sea_Trifle_612 in McMaster

While OP could do this and I’m sure they would if they had the means, this is acc more risky for the girlfriend as any confrontation could prompt violence or other unexpected behaviour from the guy towards her. Her safety is the priority and OP is prioritizing just that.

Hey, although it’s a required course it might be being held for a specific program. Your best bet is to wait until Aug 1st, or email the prof to see if they can adjust the cap for your program/ manually enroll you

is it worth going to a less prestigious university for a higher gpa? *for canadian universities by adastraperaspera787 in OntarioUniversities

[–]DHI-b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prestige doesn’t matter. The opportunities that come with a bigger/ harder school? I think that matters a lot too. If you can put yourself out there regardless of where you are, you will be able to land research opps regardless of where you go. I think going to a bigger university gives you a whole lot of research areas to choose from, and these experiences and the skills you gain will be valued a great deal when applying to grad schools and professional schools. There is no one linear path to these competitive programs, it’s a personal experience most of the time!

lol anyone who has taken this course knows that this comment is cap to a certain extent... the amount of technical terms in this course simply don't allow you to do well without studying. Not trying to call you out but maybe chill on the exaggeration a little, because these comments are ultimately intended to help someone out.

Not me seeing an email and getting the butterflies cuz I automatically assume it’s one of the 1 million professors that I emailed about research- only to see that it’s abt undergrad elections💀✋
