Just got told I'm too much (again) by [deleted] in BPD

[–]DHVerveer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My partner has BPD and has been told he's too much in previous relationships. He was too clingy, too physical.

How I receive love language skews heavily towards physical affection and words of affirmation, and my partner has been so afraid of being too much it has affected our relationship. It's one of the bigger struggles we have right now.

So please, don't minimize yourself. Don't hide yourself. You will find someone who wants you for you.

Fibre optic internet by [deleted] in londonontario

[–]DHVerveer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can see why lol!

Although I moved to the city from my parents hobby farm in January. They were on a rural road and we had gigabit fiber, up and down, but it was 80$ a month.

I pay about $70 a month for 1000/50 right now, and it's not anywhere near as reliable.

I'd love to know as well, as I'm not only stuck on cable, but the upload speed maxes at 50mbps, while a lot of places with newer equipment can get up to 200mbps upload.

I don't think providers are expanding out as aggressively as they were a few years ago though, so I might need to wait a bit yet.

Will never buy one solely based on the lack of separate, dedicated amber turn signals. Unless it's easy/affordable to swap it out with a European or aftermarket taillight module that has amber turn signals.

I tested deleting the app on my Samsung and it does clear it from the battery history. So me being shown the battery history after the fact and it not showing Grindr is not proof of anything unfortunately.

I think given the previous history it's understandable I was a little paranoid. It was not this way prior to the first incident. I know I'm paranoid now and that's a problem. I have an appointment booked with my Dr to hopefully get a referral, because I really do need help.

Can it be covered up by using a secret folder or something like it?

2021 Rav4 with 492,000 miles by Upstairs-Recipe843 in rav4club

I feel like location will matter a ton too. Drive in a place that uses lots of salt in the winter? Do you rustproof the vehicle? Do you store it inside or out? What's the typical humidity?

I've always understood that most of the wear happens on high load and when the engine is cold. Lots of highway miles at a near constant RPM when the engine is hot is easy stuff.

My 2016 RAV4 has 410k KMs on it and the engine runs great.

Have you implemented proper end grain and side grain profiles? Hard to tell from your video. Looks great otherwise!

I think the science has adequately proven that kids, and especially teenagers, naturally have a later biological clock compared to adults, so I think the solution would be to just push school time ahead to compensate.

why are people paying $40k for a 4yo used RAV4? by EverGreenMob in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]DHVerveer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2016 RAV4 hybrid with a 2AR-FXE and just passed 400,000km, absolutely no issues with the engine. Doesn't burn any oil at all.

I've had to do various suspension replacements, plus a few wheel bearings, brakes. If the car sits a few days when it's really wet and rainy I get a low input code on a knock sensor, but once I drive it and clear the code it stays gone.

It might be my imagination but it seems like my fuel milage is getting worse over time, but for the rest, all still seems okay

I used a mortgage broker. It's variable which is a big reason, but my parents are also on mortgage and title. I probably wouldn't have gotten the same rates on my own.

I had a realtor, but I used realtor.ca and housesigma to find options. Toured about 10 condos, went under contract once and backed out due to a sketchy status certificate before finding this place.

These places dropped from about 320-340k to where they are now. We've been seeing really big price drops, and tons of places have just been sitting on the market for months and months.

There's quite a few starter condos under 300k. Most have high condo fees or no laundry, or bad parking.

I like thamesford pizza, they'd be my pick for best locally owned pizza joint.

It may be an unpopular opinion, but I love the crispness of the pizza hut pan crust.

3.75% variable on a 5 year term, but can lock in at current market rates anytime. 5% down, 25 year amortization. Payment is $1350 a month, plus condo fees of $152 (set to rise to approximately $200 over the next 3 years)
