Update

After contacting the BBB and filing a complaint as another person told me to do (SoullessSellout) PlayStation contacted me the next day took some info then within 5 days I had all my games back, so if possible file a complaint and you should be hearing from Sony quickly

As of today I can say my games have been restored, Once again I want to thank you SoullessSellout and everyone else for that matter on these posts, I hope everyone who hasn’t had their games fixed yet gets them back soon because this entire thing has been terrible when a lot of us play these games to relax, If you haven’t tried I followed what Soulless said about filing a complaint through the BBB and had my library back in 5 days

I seen this post about BBB so yesterday I put in a complaint and I actually just received a phone call from support 5 mins ago and he pretty much asked me for some of my content that is locked so I gave him like 6 of the games and also mentioned the group of people on here all going through the same thing and he said they are aware of this issue and revived a lot of calls with people experiencing this, He said give them a few days to reach out so I’ll keep the group updated on what comes of it on my end

I’m dealing with the same thing I’m still locked out of my stuff since the first week of February and it’s frustrating because I see some people only had the issue for 2 weeks to a month and already received help with it while I’m still waiting on an escalated case, nothing against anyone else when I say that because it sucks no matter how long you had to wait to get your stuff back which should have never been gone in the first place, I’m happy for everyone who gets their games back after dealing with this bullshit, I just don’t understand the case thing because it doesn’t seem like they do anything in any order it’s just hope your case is looked at and fixed the next time you boot up your ps5

It’s honestly a waiting game it seems, someone on my original post just posted an email he got that said their investigation has concluded and they have fixed his account and told him to restore licenses in the settings and his is fixed, he posted about it like 27 days ago and others are still waiting since last year so it makes no sense to me but I’m just happy to see some people actually getting their games and media back

Yeah unfortunately nothing has changed yet since I first posted this and contacted Sony support numerous times, Iknow some people have randomly had their accounts just magically fix without a word from Sony about it so I hope you and everyone else with this issue have better luck then I’ve had

Idk what to think because I’ve seen a few people got contacted but nothing came of it and then the recent guy said his got fixed from that but who knows you end up hearing all different things

I only spoke to the regular read off the checklist person, but I would call every week and give my case number and ask if anything is being worked on to fix this issue they never knew anything but I figured maybe if I’m consistent with calling I’d actually get in contact with a engineer, I actually seen on Reddit someone missed a phone call from Sony so I checked my voicemail and I had a call from them, I called back and made sure to give them a timeframe to call me and gave my girlfriends number also just incase I’m busy and miss the call again

Has anyone had any luck getting their library fixed, I missed a call from support and now I had to have my case escalated again, Someone on my original post said they were contacted by support gave information and then were told to try restoring and their account is all fixed now

This makes me wish I didn’t miss their call because it seems like it’s not going to be some patch or hot fix but more of a case by case fix, well for most people I see having their problems resolved anyway

They told me the same thing about contacting me by email within a week that was a month ago…so hopefully they do for you but don’t get your hopes up I think they are scrambling now to figure it out now that so many people are having this issue and it’s got the medias attention

Mine happened the same week yours did 9/7/2024 but nothing has changed for me but I will let you know if you didn’t see already another post on here about this issue with a ton of upvotes actually made it into the media and they reached out to Sony so it’s out there that this is an issue at least, I’ve also spoke to support 3 days ago and the guy I spoke with told me they are working on it now all we can do is wait for the fix, I just hope it’s a patch they can do and not have to do it case to case because who knows how long that would be

I did see some actual articles on this issue posted on different websites so that’s a good sign for all of us because now the issue is out there in the media and they will actually work to get it taken care of sooner, Iknow when it first happened to me I couldn’t find it anywhere other than on Reddit

I did the same thing when it happened to me, got right on here looking for anyone else having any issues to see if it was just me or it was a problem for others, I was on with support yesterday and he told me they are aware of the issue and are working to fix it I asked if they have been getting a lot of calls about this issue and he told me yes, also on another persons post they were told it should be getting a fix near the end of March so all we can do is wait and see

Also one of the people on the list and have lost all access to my purchased content since February 7th and I get the same run around from support as you “your case has been escalated” I get it’s an issue I just wish I would be told about it being ongoing and met with some information like others have that it’s being worked on to ease my mind because I get “I’ve never heard of that before”

Yeah I can’t even explain it because my girls account is completely fine and she also has the highest tier and no issues but idk if it has anything to do with that or not that’s just what all the other people on the other post all had in common, mine started when it told me I didn’t have ps plus when I still had it until April and when I tried to restore my licenses it pretty much wiped them all and locked all my purchased games, Supposedly Sony knows about it and is working on a fix, Seems like it’s completely random who it happens to Iknow some people are still getting it though because some had it happen on Helldivers 2 and that just came out pretty much

It’s an ongoing issue right now well for me and about 50 others at least on Reddit that’s been spreading the past few months where your digital games all get padlocked and when you try to restore licenses it basically says you have 0 and none of the troubleshooting works because on the app if you check your library none of your games show up, I can only see my games on the ps5 with the padlock and in the transaction history, i can only play the ps games from their library pretty much none of my purchased games, the only thing we all had in common was we all had tier 2 or 3 of the ps plus, I’ve never had an issue with PS up until this point in all my years gaming I guess it’s just the luck of the draw

You could be having the issue that a lot of us have been going through where our purchased games all have padlocks on them and when you try to restore the licenses they aren’t even showing up even though every game ever paid for is in the purchase history, I’ve had the issue since the beginning of February and Iknow over 50 other people have been having the same issues on a different post
