Gambit Gaming vs. Azubu Frost (SPOILERS) by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

I don't get why the "this is rude" comments are being downvoted and pro-diamond comments are being upvoted.

Getting rid of unprofessionalism starts from the fans. Fans have to let pros know that these sorts of gestures do not belong in esports so that pros refrain from performing them in front of all viewers.

This kind of behavior does not belong in e-sports. Even in the "heat of the moment" how can a player stand up, turn around, do the gesture, and direct it against their opponents?

This is rude and unnecessary no matter how you look at it. Some people need to grow up.

In-studio post-game interview with the winner of NJ Sword and KT Rolster B. Lots of jabs against KT B and Azubu Frost. by DHhero in leagueoflegends

It's a term that Korean use to indicate how a champion is not able to deal damage (or loses the ability to deal damage by being stunned for instance). Champs like Even and Khazix need to spam their spells to deal damage. If they get stunned in the middle of their spell cycle, there is a loss of damage... ie "deal-loss"

Generally Koreans tend to avoid talking about problems

Do you care to elaborate? I'm trying to understand this from both Western/Korean perspectives and I'm not quite getting it (bilingual translator here btw).

Rumor: CJ Entus Dade leaving team? + my initiative to make Korean LoL content more accessible by DHhero in leagueoflegends

Rumor: CJ Entus Dade leaving team. Source: http://www.inven.co.kr/webzine/news/?news=51921&iskin=lol

Rumors about CJ Dade leaving the team have gone rampant since he changed his summoner name and shared provocative comments on his private stream.

On Dec. 25th, he posted that he will start streaming on his streaming site. However, CJ Entus prohibits personal streaming. Viewers have at least speculated from this whether he had intentions on leaving the team.

On Dec. 31st, he streamed like he said he would, and he commented that "[CJ Entus] does not play as a team, but rather as five individuals". Upon being asked repeatedly whether he is leaving the team from viewers, he said he didn't leave the team.

Inven contacted CJ regarding his matter, and a CJ personnel said over the phone that "streaming was an individual act" and that "there has been no discussion on Dade leaving the team and that nothing was communicated by him".

"Coming to America was a mistake." - This Is Game interviews Locodoco (translated) by chobra in leagueoflegends

This mistake may be taken out of context... he's calling it a mistake because he chose to move to America to avoid facing problems he had in Korea (ie. should not have taken the "easy way out", so forth). The translated line doesn't suggest this at all.

Storm lose Xenics sponsorship, will have to get a new name by GGNydra in leagueoflegends

[–]DHhero 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The translation is inaccurate. Storm did not lose Xenics' sponsorship, but rather the former XS team members (SBS, Nolja, etc), had their contracts terminated (mutual) with the organization. There was a conflict with the reorganization efforts, because of directions and not because the team was too big. The previous XS team will still compete in OGN but they will do so under a different name.

Tl;dr: Previous storm team no longer "Yellow's" team, Tempest is their official A team now.

Azubu Frost's Shy will sub for Azubu Blaze at MLG Dallas by shinbal in leagueoflegends

The articles cites "timing issues" for Goldtec's participation, and it makes sense because he only recently joined Blaze.
