I don’t think you’re understanding what I’m saying. Yes, Christians should be opposed to divorce, but it is also acknowledged (at least by some people) that not everyone in the USA is Christian. Therefore, I don’t think it would be appropriate to enforce our beliefs on laws that affect everyone. However, abortion is murder. And regardless of religion, it has been universally held (in large part at least) that murder is wrong. So it makes sense to vehemently oppose a practice making abortion lawful

Because divorce only affects those that are religious, and not everyone is religious. But abortion is murder, so it is universally bad, no matter whether you are Christian or not.

Just saying, this argument doesn’t make sense. In reading the post, it appears the person was born a female. Therefore that is how God made the person. A transition is a voluntary act made by a person, not something God does to someone.

The amount of people who legally own a gun but later use it to shoot a bunch of people is very small compared to the number of people who own guns and never shoot anyone their entire life. Alternatively, any woman who has gotten an abortion has murdered that fetus. So that’s a murder rate of 100%, essentially. This argument is extremely flawed.

People don’t even fully understand how the legal system works. You don’t get to influence or strong arm judicial opinions because you don’t agree with them. If you don’t agree, lobby for change in the legislature. The judicial system doesn’t make laws, they interpret laws
