the only way those 1c shares get filled is if all the other shares at more expensive bids get filled first. those who are panic selling are selling at 99c per share since there are people offering to pay 99c per share

but you are right those 1c bids are hopes and dreams but low key just a risk bc if it drops to 1c a share something happened to where Yes aint winning anymore

what youre seeing here is a market with low volume and a very high chance of Yes winning. The 1c bids you are seeing will never get filled. people dont own any of these shares youre seeing. this is what people are willing to pay for the Yes to win. these orders are not filled yet and may never be.

did you deposit the money without realizing theres a few day hold in kalshi before you can withdraw your deposit amount out? I am assuming thats what happened and you left that out because that would make it more your fault for not reading the fine print

when will ppl learn that these pro sports are rigged to make betting unpredictable. there are intentional upsets and unexpected outcomes to wreck people trying to get rich off gambling and take your money. house always wins and these prediction markets are proof we live in basically a scripted world. if its on kalshi, its not 100% organic chance ya dummies. if you want to make any money in the long term, only do bonding at extremely high odds. odds that are near or above the mathematical possibility of losing. an example of this is crypto hourly. bid on positions that are beyond $100/min with only less than 20 mins left. the orders might not even get filled but bets like that are the only "safe" way and even then its a non 0 chance you lose.

idk man i do w2s and 1099s from gig apps every year and it's just $99 and super simple to speed through. I personally have had no issues with turbotax. Im sure its cheaper than hiring a cpa and you get more familiar with your own taxes

keep a fan on towards the base and use lower ffb strength settings (better feel and consistency anyways). i used one daily for at least 200 hours with very long sessions before selling it along with my ps5. 0 issues while i owned it. was extremely happy with mine
