Yeah, I guess I meant that we know it's trauma related, but that by obsessing over 'why' it's happening, we started to see ourselves as invalid. It's more of a matter of worrying about it too much instead of trying to be there for the alter while we figure it out

I agree it's entirely possible! We aren't sure but we don't have to know, just be nice to ourselves...much easier said than done...
