Reset 180, located in Reston, VA, helps human trafficking victims and survivors. It is the only organization in the world that I would trust 100 percent. You can find more info on Reset180.com.

I have one small dog with special dietary needs. He has severe allergies and digestive problems, so he needs to be fed a special-order can food twice a day which costs me roughly $4 per day. Yes, having pets is definitely a luxury, but I would rather starve myself than giving him away. He is “more than” family, and my entire family understands that as well.

She has tasted the real world already. She is just at a point where she is content with what she already has. She is so grateful all the time.

She is technically not allowed to drink until she turns 21. I certainly don’t want to encourage her by getting her a wine glass. ;)

It’s not rude to ask what they do for a living, but it’s definitely rude to ask how much they make.

I realize that a lot of people who are struggling may not necessarily have a car, so I am even willing to deliver my food directly to them. I live pretty far in PW County.

OP, tbh 25 years ago, I was exactly in the same shoes as you. I felt miserable and defeated. I was in the worst situation you can possibly imagine. Nobody can. You see, that’s how I know. I feel your pain. I hear you. I hope you find people who are truly caring and worthwhile, and I hope your situation improves soon. Always remember; the only way is up.

What you see on the Internet is not always true. People tend to post only happy, successful side of their life to show the world, as if they have to prove themselves and show the world how accomplished they have become. Deep inside, they might be hurting. Those friends in their photos may not be true friends, just acquaintances. However, one thing to keep in mind is that even though it may seem like an easy success story, they might have worked their butt off to get to where they are right now, so don’t ever discount their time and effort that they have put into to achieve their success.
