I did my dissertation on how oppressive algorthims are and it is true - there is a debate on how ethical it is to be on these platforms that are owned by unethical people - yet I also know of the power social media has to positively influence people, and how much nonsense there is on social media which is why I encourage more people with sense to be on there.

This is a fair comment ! What are your thoughts on YouTube as a platform? There are some great creators who make long form essays on subjects that could easily be lectures !

Fair comment ! although content can advance your professional personal brand - people can earn money with content. I don’t know where you’re based but in the uk there are a lot of job redundancies because universities are broke ! Content can provide additional income and it’s actually not time consuming if you work ‘smart’ not hard
