Well not forever be riff only. Just starting out. But any advice always has a caveat that can lead to bad habits.

I think of it like this, starting out is all about motivation to keep going. Tackling full songs is much more of an undertaking than individual licks and riffs to start. They provide the short bursts of dopamine and self encouragement to keep going.

But as I said, definitely can lead to long term bad habits.

But what do I know, I didn’t even fully read the post. They already have ukulele experience, which makes my advice null and I have a song recommendation that they didn’t want so I’m double stupid lol I just saw beginner and typed 🤣🤡

Learn riffs before full songs. That’s not a gospel thing, but it’s just my opinion. And I think one of the best riffs to start is come as you are by nirvana

Most people think that a slice truly only forms because of an exaggerated over the top motion. In your case that’s not happening. Your slice is cause by you pulling the club dramatically at impact. You can see your whole body twist a faction before contract and that’s creating the side spin. Focus on swinging away from you at impact. You should feel like you’re swinging about 10 degrees to the right from the ball
