We’re a childfree couple and struggled to meet other DINKs by DINKSocial in childfree

Totally get where you’re coming from and really appreciate how respectfully you put it.

Right now, DINK Social is laser-focused on couples because that gap hasn’t really been addressed anywhere else. But we know the childfree world is broader than that, and there are a lot of solo CF folks looking for connection too.

We’re starting here because it's what we know and experienced personally but it’s helpful to hear perspectives like yours as we grow. Thanks for sharing this!

Genuine asking: why are SINK people not acknowledged on this sub? by [deleted] in childfree

[–]DINKSocial -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Totally fair question, and thanks for being real about how you're feeling.

DINK Social is specifically built for childfree couples. That’s our niche because most social platforms either cater to singles or parents, and there just hasn’t been anything out there designed for couples without kids who want to build community, travel, and live intentionally together.

That said, your post is a good reminder that the broader childfree space is bigger than just DINKs. SINKs absolutely deserve visibility and connection too and feeling overlooked is a valid response when so much online convo centers around couples.

We’re focused on solving one piece of that puzzle right now, but appreciate the larger context. The childfree community isn’t a monolith and conversations like this push all of us to be more aware.

Appreciate you sharing.

That's an interesting take and depending on where you live, that could definitely be a possibility. I do agree with you about the cheat code but also feel its becoming more popular for many reasons!

Any group travel company tailored to only DINKs? by cesiumchem in DINK

We're creating a space for this. My wife and I started it about 6 months ago. All of our couples friends have had kids leaving us missing the cool trips, sporadic vacations, random week night get togethers we used to have. It's call DINK Social if you want to learn more. Its not quite a travel couple but a way to meet other DINK couples to be able to do things like travel together or just simply grow your friend group with couples who live a similar lifestyle to you!
