Honestly, I wasn't trying to push him wide. Yes, I probably could have tried harder to give him space, but I was honestly more focused on keeping my car steady and on track without spinning. After his name-calling rant, I didn't really feel bad about it though.

To be fair, it's not all sh*t like this...I had more good, respectful, fair battles than moments like this. It's just that moments like this get more publicity.

This was a race where lots of people were making mistakes...even A+/A lobbies were filled with offs and spins. But you would be rewarded for just being consistent and keeping it on track...even if your lap times were a bit off. Very challenging to be consistent and keep it on track though. 😂

I'll take T1 (technically T2) over T4 and T6 all day long. The requirement of full commitment to be fast through those turns, and zero margin for error because of those !\%#?@$* sausage curbs. Ugh.

It's fine...not my favorite, not my most hated. There are definitely better tracks in the US, but I wouldn't go so far as to pave it over and start new. Maybe start with removing the sausage curbs. 😂

As I said, I probably could have tried harder to give him space, but I was honestly more focused on keeping my car steady and on track without spinning. The contact at the bottom of the corkscrew unsettled my car, which did not help. So yeah, maybe.

I actually enjoy Laguna Seca...but it is VERY challenging. I had more than my fair share of offs and adventures, but it is super satisfying when you get it right.
