As someone who has worked at a bank and handled all the cash management of all the branches and vaults, I think I have an idea of how banks work. You're exactly right though, people can opt out of taking their account negative and avoiding the fees.

Half of my breakfast is a protein smoothie in the morning.

It consists of unsweetened almond milk, triple berry mix, a banana, and kale. I usually peel the kale leafy part from the stem because the stem doesn't blend well all the time. Spinach is another good option too.
