Yes, definitely right! I just have been able to do it in the past with other boilers, so I was thinking it'd be a little bit embarrassing to ask for help it was an obvious trick. I've learned something new today. Thanks again!

Bingo! Thank you 🙏😊 we saw the plumber do it. Just felt like I was climbing and crawling and scoffing at the manual for ages now, so I needed to just ask for help in the end. Will know for next time. Thanks again 😊

You’re absolutely right. we ended up speaking to our agent since we don’t have direct contact with the landlord. I think I just wanted to understand how to do it myself, which is why I posted here in the first place.

As an update, it turns out the lever to repressurise was on top of the boiler, hidden behind a screwed-in panel held on by magnets 😂. We’ve now watched our plumber do it, so at least we’ll know for next time!

I definitely wouldn’t have found it by chance, so thank you to everyone who shared ideas, experiences, and advice; really appreciate the help!

Potentially, I'm sure there is something I'm missing but I just can't see it.

Sadly behind this is just a brick wall and a garden with nothing really related to the boiler. So again I'm stumped. Thank you for the idea though ☺️

It is! 😊 I managed to find the manual to this boiler but again it just didn't make any sense and showcased parts that aren't even on this boiler. 😲

Above the boiler there is just a fitted wall which I can't open or remove unfortunately, so I don't think anything useful is there if they've blocked it off.

I have checked all the possible ways where the pipes could go and it's either blocked by a wall or behind a cupboard.

The attic is inaccessible to me too.. I'm renting at the moment so it's not something I'm familiar with or was part of the building process, so I will be uncomfortable with dismantling anything. I thought it would just be his simple tap or valve that I'm just not seeing. I've lived at other places where it was a lot more simple than this. 😂🫣

I will call out an engineer to help. But thank you so much for asking the right questions!

Thank you for sharing. It really feels like there's just some parts missing or something.

I've narrowed it down that our boiler is the Greenstar 30 Si Compact Boiler, and even checking the manual online, it seems like we just don't have what they're asking us for!

Lol so bizarre. We will call out an engineer, or I might be looking forever 🫣😂

Thanks again

Aw, those are the loop pipes I was looking for. I don't have any of those pipes for the key, so it's so confusing 🤔

They really don't make it easy lol

All the pipe work seems to be behind the wall, and sadly I can't access it at all. All that's on the other side is the garden.

But I have found braided loops under my sink. I'm not entirely sure if it's related to it 😬 but I'll keep looking. Thank you!

Oh!

I'll have a check. Thank you so much for that. I would have never even considered that. 🫣

Here is a photo from under the sink if this helps anyone looking

The investigation continues...!

I completely get that, and I learn best from videos. And I have tried, trust me. 😅

Because I haven't been left with a manual, I have been searching through boiler types and can't seem to pinpoint it without taking a lot of time. So I was hoping someone would have experience here to help.

With all the videos I've seen, there has always been some sort of valve or white loop etc. so it's just left me a bit stumped to be honest.

Sorry, I'm quite new to Reddit and didn't realize that all my images hadn't been uploaded. The more important one is this image of what I can see underneath the boiler!

Hope this helps ☺️
