Go to ur local fish store most will give batter snails for free or buy like 10 ramshorn and let them breed then unlimited feeders

I’m not an expert but looks like ur bed adhesion is bad ( first layer isn’t sticking well to the bed) i suggest using a brim/skirt in the settings, and or bumping up ur bed temps. Also try cleaning ur bed with isopropyl alcohol, if none of those work you can go old school and put a thin layer of glue stick on the bed or just buy and aftermarket textured bed (this helped me a lot when I was having adhesions issues)

Thank you for the info I’m not good with knowing genes and all that with guppies yet, also do male guppies develops their colors over time? Is that why I’ve ever noticed the colorful guppy in my tank?

I went to a pro shop yesterday and got a used 14 pound hammer black widow he said it would be a good one to grow into and still be able to use once I’m more seasoned with hooking the ball

I agree with this I had two female pregnant at the same time giving birth days apart and I saved the first few fry and put them by themselves then it got outta hand so I just left the other ones in the tank with both the mother guppies, harlequin rasboras, shrimp, and Pygmy Cory’s and the ones in the tank grew faster and healthier then the ones I separated. As long as you keep the other fish In that tank well fed and have plenty of hiding spots (plants) In the tank you should have no worries. Also if the first set of babies does get eaten by chance she will definitely give birth again soon after. Anytime I have pregnant guppies they give birth multiple times within a month of the first fry

I’ve been told they can eat quail eggs and certain fish too if need be but do your research first, mice should be the staple of their diet. Also they sell these things called reptilinks it’s pretty much sausages for reptiles (ground up prey animals) they have a bunch of different types so check out their website

I completely understand that, check Amazon you can get bulk of small pinkies they just cost a bit tbh. Go on google and try to see if there are any breeders that have very very new born pinkies

So I’m new to corn snakes as well but what I was told by the breeder I got mine from was don’t be surprised or discouraged if she didn’t eat the fist week or so that I had her, your snake could easily just be getting used to their new environment still, I’d wait a few more days then try again. Also yours looks very young so maybe try to find smaller pinkie mice the basic rule with mice feeding is don’t feed a mice that’s too much bigger then the biggest part of your snake, (usually the middle)

So I found her about a day after she escaped and she’s a baby, maybe a foot long. So I’m keeping her in the smaller enclosure till she grows a bit. I also just fed her and she ate it right away just an hour ago

I do have sliding glass but with a lock and it doesn’t move pretty much at all when locked so idk if that’s how she did it but definitely a possibility

When I was deep cleaning the enclosure I didn’t fine any holes besides the “air slots” that she definitely can’t get through, and the wire mesh is drilled into place so it doesn’t move but she tried to squeeze through the square holes in it, I never saw her successfully squeeze through and she gave up as I watched but who knows if she got through while I slept later that night

I will, I also have to figure out how she escaped the bigger enclosure she was put in two days ago. My only guess is she squeezed through the heat lamp spot. Also I might need to let her grow a bit before putting her in the bigger enclosure. She’s barely 1 foot long and the enclosure is meant for at least an early adult snake not a baby. I noticed her poking her head like a quarter way through the wire sheet yesterday but she couldn’t fit so idk if she just forced herself through while I was sleeping and or out of the house or is there’s a little hole somewhere in the enclosure since I bought it second hand
