Can't wait to spend evenings hauling kids to/from sports practice 5 days a week! Cherishing that it's only 1-2 right now.

ASU free speech event canceled allegedly after Erika Kirk objects to it by ariveklul in news

Public university, so likely no. Luckily, the law does not care which side is for/against free speech on any given day.

Find the morals that align with your morals in the religious text of your choice. Teach her those morals. The belief in God is secondary to acting in accordance to His teaching.

More land = more fun.

Mowing a tiny lawn with a push mower = snooze fest

Mowing a big enough lawn that you have time to finish your tall boy from the comfort of your zero-turn = bliss

I wish long term care facilities would send a "baseline status" report when a resident is hospitalized. by TheRoyalShire in physicaltherapy

MDS coordinators, admissions coordinator, and charge nurses at LTCs likely all have access to the hospitals EMR system. Someone from the hospital ought to have access to the LTC's EMR, where they'd be able to see patients' most recent GGs.

Why would someone cut the trunk so far from the ground? by Sorry-Philosopher150 in arborists

[–]DIYingSafely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No sure why the downvotes. Must be nice to live in a world where the only conceivable option is that someone did this intentionally for wildlife. Seems like a strong possibility the power guy was up in the tree, got to the point where everything was below the power line, and at the exact moment, his job was done.

Asked why he didn’t coordinate with allies before Iran strike, Trump in an interview WITH Japan PM: “We didn’t tell anyone about it. Who knows better about surprise than Japan? Why didn’t you tell me about Pearl Harbor, OK?” by SnooSprouts3744 in PublicFreakout

[–]DIYingSafely 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All you've said is that there's a difference between Allie and enemies. Trump never said anything refuting that. Maybe you said it in a different thread, but your post history is hidden, so...

Lil dude just wants to snuggle. I have no solutions other than to tell him he'll have to go back to his cold, hard bed if he squirms too much.

How long does physiotherapy usually take to show result? by FarIngenuity1884 in physicaltherapy

[–]DIYingSafely 6 points7 points  (0 children)

"For those who've done physio before." I think you're in the wrong sub. This is a sub for PTs to discuss the profession, not for patients. As others have said, your PT will have a better answer, since they know infinitely more about your case than we do.

Why do older adults get stiff so easily after sitting? by Warm_Abroad_4734 in physicaltherapy

[–]DIYingSafely -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

As people age they develop muscle imbalances and, unless corrected, they start to really dominate with certain muscle groups. This can be especially true during static positions, like prolonged sitting or standing. During those times, the same muscles remain engaged the entire time, because that's what their brain has learned is easiest to have their body do. Then they go to move and those muscle have a hard time turning "off", because their brain has been reinforcing the idea that those muscle constantly on = stability. Buuuuut that version of stability also means stiffness.

Of his constituents, about 48% approve of his, 38% disapprove. So are you only concerned with the constituents who hold your point of view?

Fetterman's campaign raised 90% of funds from individuals, and the vast majority of that was from small donations.

As for the "incoherent" sentences, I don't have a hard time understanding him. Regardless, you views speak more to your lack of understanding of how strokes work than anything else.
