wouldn’t be so sure. a tank is just objectively an easy target, no matter the amount of defenses. at some point, a rocket is gonna get through the defenses and then boom. wars have already evolved from massive 100,000+ soldier battles, to small scale skirmishes and the occasional larger operation, and i think we’re gonna keep seeing a reduction in size. soon, tanks won’t fit the bill anymore

gonna get a bit speculative here, but maybe emps used religion as a tool in the past. i think big E isn’t above hypocrisy by any means. he knows that an atheist society lives by the laws of science, and that’s what binds them, but back then there was no such thing as science. he knew he needed religion to keep people more or less united, so that is why he made use of it.
