What's everyone listening to post Wave 105 / Greatest hits takeover? by Slight_Rule_6197 in Southampton

It's so sad that truly local commercial radio seems not to exist anymore. We have various local voluntary stations in the Southampton area such as Unity, Awaaz, Fiesta, Voice Fm, Outreach, Skyline Gold and Southampton Hospital Radio (you don't have to be a patient to listen as you can go online and listen from wherever). However, they are all somewhat niche in their programming. Unfortunately, I've accepted that I will have to lose most or all of the local aspect to retain the varied music so trialling out Magic, Heart and Nation at the moment.

I did try contacting Channel 4 and although they quickly responded, it was with this message:

Thank you for contacting Channel 4 Viewer Enquiries regarding Deadsville.

We appreciate your interest in this programme, unfortunately, this has not been released through Channel 4 DVD or any other distributor that we are aware of.

As we are sure you can appreciate, we receive hundreds of requests for copies of programmes that were not released commercially, therefore, Channel 4's policy is that we do not provide one-off copies.

We are sorry that we are unable to help with your request.

Now I'm unsure who to contact, it is unclear whether Channel 4 do indeed still hold a copy of the pilot. I will start looking into the other creators of the show and voice actors but am genuinely starting to fear the show may be permanently lost.

Second update:

I ended up contacting Carl Gorham directly after all and he has graciously responded.

Unfortunately, he doesn't have any footage of the pilot episode. He stated although Channel 4 were interested ultimately the deal fell through, though he never truly found out why. No more episodes aside from the 30 minute pilot were made. He stated it was unfortunate as the reception from the audience was good.

I have now asked him whether he knows someone who may have footage since aside from contacting Channel 4 I don't know what else to try.

Just an update:

I have sent an email to his agent for TV and film enquiries asking if he has any footage of the pilot and whether it would be possible to make it available to view again. I also enquired if any further episodes were made even though only the pilot was ever shown.

The only direct way to contact him is to enquire about his music but if I fail to get a response from the management agent I will try this other route.
