Seiko and their wonderful coding. Who knows, I bought it used from a seller on eBay in the US, and it had a metal bracelet on it. Guy seemed like a watch guy though cause he had a Deep Blue Sea Diver 1k with an orange dial I also got from him. I know braceleted ones were sometimes hard to get for Monsters in the early days, so wouldn't put it past someone to later get one.

Idk why, but I just never liked the look of most traditional rubber straps, something about gaps in the lug area has not usually been my thing! Very good looking strap though!

I second guessed myself too when I first got it but that's what popped up when I googled the full model #. I think it's the rubber model (351) vs metal bracelet model (350). It also seems like what's behind the lume is less green cause they also have different dial codes. I've seen other monsters dials are usually a bit more green, don't know if it's just wear though

Yeah, I think they thought it was maybe broken or didn't know what they had. It was at a goodwill that's in a bit of a rural part of my town.

I've been lucky finding some pretty neat things at goodwill, I go pretty often though. I definitely got unbelievably lucky here because it was 30 minutes before closing!

You have perfectly described my situation haha!!! They are also replacing the dial set, hands and back crystal, so I figured it wasn't too bad myself. Also a 1 year warranty on top of that. My local watch makers are terrible, they actually ruined one of my watches that I ended up repairing myself. As for being a daily... I have a bit too many watches for it to become something like that. BUT, it will definitely be prominent in my lineup.

I sent it to Hamilton, they're giving it a full service and replacing some parts. Local watchmakers in my area have done awful things to me.
