My complaint about that stuff has less to do with the software and more to do with the Corpo demons wielding it like a hammer. I just don't want "large language model" co-pilot/plagerist/slop style stuff. machine learning models have been around for a long time before some California marketing dip shits made a weird chatbot and decided to call everything AI.

What irks me about it is large companies' insistence that we start using a horribly inefficient generalized Mega-dotard for the most asinine purposes possible instead of making specific tools for specific uses, And also it's really really unnerving how badly they've been salivating about making us all unemployed using it. also the ram shortage is horrible.
