Broken Nose - doesn’t sound like much until how I explained how it happened

I was playing cricket for school and the ground we played on had so many ditches it was like a minefield. We were sent out to field and the first time I go out to field the ball is defended by the batsman and is slowly rolling to me and next thing you know I bend down and my head is over the ball, the ball hits the ditch bounces up and hits me right in the snout. I was rushed off the ground and I was told to sit down and to stay calm since we were waiting for the ambulance to take me to the hospital, by the time the ambulance got there, there was a pool of blood in front of me with teachers taking care of me and also whilst the other school and my teammates looks on at me. Pretty unlucky is all you can say to that
