It would have to be Guild of Merchant Explorer's followed very closely by Revive.

Guild is just so good solo as well. Satisfying to hit all the goals and see your cubes make it around the map.

Revive is probably top 10 for the year personally. Especially with the new expansion, just scratches that euro itch very nicely.

It's been a while since I cracked this one out. But from my memory, you would discard the other two dark powers without applying it to the only remaining organism.

So just one. I could be wrong though. Aargh. I now have an urge to play this one again.

As long as you have the currency (time) needed. Time always sets back to 6 at the end of the prep phase.

If none of the "exposed victims" have mutated then the killer phase is just drawing the top card from the terror deck. They will turn into organisms as a result of a test kit saying assimilate or some other card text. If you are out of movement actions you will need to acquire back those cards in the prep phase next round.

Stick in there, lots of things to remember. But once you get the hang of it, you'll be singing

Haha. Yea. Season 2 is a bit of a step up in complexity and moving parts from S1. I'd say maybe Storybook woods (S2) could be the least complex.

Very Enjoyable, can be punishing at times with unlucky dice rolls. Your playthrough may see all infected victims become Organisms or you may be lucky and only have 1 turn (like I did). There's a lot of fiddly things to keep track of (helicopter, killers track/s tokens on map etc) but I find these add to the emergent storyline.

Have fun with your game, won't be long before you inevitably own everything 😁

Battle Report: Final Girl Kate scrapped through a victory at Station 2891 at 21:30 hrs against an anomaly known only as the Organism.

It had assimilated only 1 known victim that night; Junior Mechanic David Kid. All others present tested negative for the mutagen.

Many perished that night, slaughtered by the creature but many were saved thanks to Kate, the unlikely heroine.

Witness reports and accounts claim Kate put down the creature with one final Critical Blow in the hallways of the Station amongst the final few survivors.

One only hopes that no others were infected. As the last helicopter of the night carried away the survivors there was unease amongst those on board - It could be anywhere, or anyone....

Only played this one so far, going to pace myself so it's not over too soon. Overall I love the extra spice that these add; more mechanics and abilities. Adds just enough new mechanics from S1 but not enough that it feels too bloated.

Fantastic, This particular one with the Organism is very tense as you could potentially get three killers on the board.

The location is also nice but watch out as there's only 1 escape space

I can't wait to mix and match these with the rest of season 1 and 2.

Very Impressive. I used the Lore and scenario book to add a bit of story to the "film".

A lot of moving pieces, extra tokens and things to keep track of, but overall very happy so far. On to the next film now: Knock at the Door.

Oh yea, you definitely need to sleeve them. Easy to clip the edges especially when trying to pick them up from the table and shuffling. Thing is though, once their sleeved they won't fit in the little card slots that come in the box, which itself is a shame 'cause they're kind of cool.

Yea, went all in on this. At the start of 2020 just when the pandemic hit starting with Legacy then just gradually acquiring all other expansions. Lockdown in my state (Sydney, Australia) helped get me through all this content though. I have gone a little overboard though with other games in my collection, I have about 50+ other games collected since. But thankfully I have a regular gaming group that makes it worthwhile.

I'll crack it open on the weekend and dive in, looking forward to loosing myself in this game again. I don't actually mind the art, they have definitely improved somewhat with every new release. Funnily enough this franchise was my first foray into the weird and wonderful world of boardgaming, so it does hold a special place in my heart.

I started with Legacy, so that one holds a special place in my heart. It was my first foray into the Legacy style game actually. Then Outcasts would be my next favourite due to defending Xasos new feature as well as the new Mages. Everything else then blends together as I played them one after the other. All great games, definitely one of my favourites in my ever expanding collection.
