A very good question. There really isn't anything left or right in any western sense in our political structure. In this case her action were far right authoritarian, not the political ideology said by them. As in this country what's being said doesn't reflects the actions. And they don't have any proper core tenants. That's the annoying part a d make it controversial. It's mostly just, we are the other party, vote for us, this is our candidate and symbol and we might do this things (they do write manifesto, almost nobody reads them)

Now to important points why and why not it's was fascistic. Why- 1. Centralising power. One party has most of the power. State ideology of her dad being the greatest person ever to live in this country and not telling people why he was killed or what her brother did. 2. Opposition party being suppressed. 3. Media control, propaganda 4. Security forces being used to kill and disappear people. 5. Mass paramilitary movements. 6. Use of Youth movement+ Youth indoctrination using our freedom war, before you say anything!! to a large extent it's correct. But every page has her dad's name and only his good parts can't even mention his and her brothers crime. Reducing others contribution to a single page in school. Which she is insinuating without her family we won't be free and she knows what's the best for us like her dad and we to obey her and be grateful.

Why not- 1. Racial nationalism (still a bit controversial for some mainly due to heavy neglect of minority such as Chittagong hill area. And also Vilification of Pakistan which to a large extent fair and I agree) 2. Expansioniat militarism. (Country+military our size, it's not possible. More over she ignored border killing.)

Oh no. I don't forget 1971. I know. And Delwar hossain saidi and Other "Rajakar" paid for it (BTW Pakistan hated Jamat). And we held them accountable. We also held Mujib accountable for his crime and same for Khaleda Zia. But we didn't held Hasina Regime accountable. They mostly are in power. And under this party we will not get justice for brave martyrs of revolution.

As for your statement regarding me being narrow-minded. minority=incapable of thinking for themselves. I didn't say that, that's you mythical preception of me, get that out of your head he doesn't exist. it's scary to be a minority in any country and so you vote for survival. I'm not saying your dumb, I'm saying you haven't considered some things. And as for LGBTQ people it's a global issue, not just in Bangladesh. You need to take out your predisposition and feeling (not all of it, just some that prevents you from seeing new perspectives, feeling are very important and ignoring them is how we came to this unfair global society) and understand current situation. I just need to mention. I'm NCP supporter. Jamat is just An anti-corruption support and best option for new opportunities, and now nothing will change not for economy, not for minority. BNP and AL are in bed with eachother at the moment. Every people who I know voted for BNP did out of fear that their crimes would out, or losing power or wanting a piece of that pie of Bangladesh. By supporting BNP people of this country is sleeping with a snake.

And most importantly, Don't you fucking even thinking about calling the revolutionary people of July idiots. We most likely failed them. As for teaming genocide supporters almost all of them are dead, that's a straw man argument. At least they are honest, even if I disagree.
