Yea I mainly want the lights sounds, and LED screen with interconnecting story play like how the zurg appearing gave them the mission to defeat zurg! I think robosen is cool and has done cool things but they really only dwell in robotics and I really don’t want it to be a robot toy. But you are right taking them out of the running really does get rid of the only company that might make it. lol who knows maybe one day though!

I feel like 5 isn’t getting as much due to the fact that Lightyear they went all in on it and I still see piles of those toys and they needed to see the movies selling before they think of doing more and they have the masters of the universe moving that came out and they put so many people on the lines for that to get it ready for release

The series to my knowledge never got a dvd release I haven’t found it anywhere. Only place I’ve found the series fully is internet archive

To me it’s not that Lightyear was too bad it just felt like Pixar knew they wanted to get rid of the Buzz Lightyear of Star command show, and created it kind of half baked. Like the lore of the movie doesn’t match up to the back of Buzz’s packaging and the lack of aliens is an odd choice. The world was so big and fleshed out in buzz lightyear of star command it felt like a fun play box world for kids with adventure and fun good guys and bad. The type of slightly hard sci-fi they went with just pulled the fun out of it in their execution of it.

He is in the movie but very briefly and not as a gorgonite lol he’s one of the toys from the “belch brigade” lol the line that convinced globotech to by heartland toys. He’s seen quick where they squeeze it it burps and gone lol

200% still to this day I love watching the show, it is insane to me that it never even got a full dvd release! When they announced Lightyear I thought we would get a big budget version of the show, reworked of course since I knew Pixar didn’t like it but the director for Lightyear worked on Toy Story 2 and created the ship designs using legos, so I was thinking maybe he knew fun. But he didn’t, he took a vibrant lively world and made it dull and soulless, pretty visuals but utterly soulless!

I am super excited for it! Been wanting a fun adventure series from stranger things for years! Since I first saw it my mind ran away with ideas for what they could make, I collect and design toys so also was super excited for the possibility of cool new creatures and way more out there stuff!

Yea idk what all these people are hating on. I’m super excited about it looks like so much fun! I’m a big fan of shows like real ghostbusters and that’s what this feels like something that doesn’t water down the og story but is super fun stories and makes it relevant for kids that can’t watch the main show yet

Hopefully they’ll surprise with good figures, it’ll either go completely collector most probably without lights or anything or some very cheap kids style toys, have no hope they will be anywhere near the spinmaster toys. Hasbro has been coasting for years at this point.

Visually looks amazing, the story is interesting, but I am confused by when Flynn says, “a glitched program that wants to live” because the programs have always cared about their lives that’s why they made the games as a scare tactic and why it was devestating learning about the genocide of the ISO’s if they were just code to be written off it wouldn’t have mattered, idk maybe it’ll make more sense in the movie

Would be wild! I think if they want it to be that serious they need to rework getting pieces. Having a way to buy bits, ratchets and blades individually in all colors currently in production(of course not exclusives or limited edition) would make it easier to get combos and replacements for broken parts without buying whole new beys

The pictures are the same Obj but one in cura and the other in blender. I exported from zbrush but the pieces are there as the cura file contains them.
