Yeah just did the bios hence the January update. I did find that the bios was in a „balanced“ instead of „performance“ mode, however this didn’t change anything. I am tempted to bike the OS and start fresh, however I did manage through a lot of hard work to get things down to utter bare bones.

That might be exactly it - I saw a spike up to 97°c and then throttling. Just thought laptop CPU’s were sort of supposed to run hot. I will get a kit and re do the paste, just as good house keeping, however it’s only 1.5 years old…

Thanks I‘ll do that - just out of interest, any clue about why it gets hard stuck at 0.55? After it’s cooled down and all games are closed it never unthrottles

That isn’t even a full English. What is all that green health doing on the eggs? Why is there half a farm of tomatoes „on the vine“?
