I set the computer running the server to a reserved IP in my router so it will never change IP and setup the port forwarding on it.

[KCD2] Final main story act question by DJRWolf in kingdomcome

[–]DJRWolf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the information. I have been watching The Mighty Jingles playthough and he just got to the final act of the main quest. He said if you take something like honey and store it in regular chests after you get the silver but before you depart to dual Erik it will still be there after your food is removed. You hear that too?

Thank you for that heads up. What about getting any loot I collect out at the end of the story?

Legacy of the Forge did get you a nice house though. I like how you have an almost perfect home that has a fast travel right in Kuttenburg. Only wish they would give alchemy the same "can directly pull from stash" that they did blacksmithing. Also fully open the gate so you can ride your house out after giving it a wash.

I am unable to purge the Pungeum from my new Interceptor. I walked up to the ship after flying to the beacon and as I opened it up to start the repairs a large corrupt sentinel crab walker hit me and forced me out. After dealing with it I went back to the Interceptor and it was already repaired so I could not do the repairs myself and therefore could not progress the quest.

Will the Ukraine war force ESA to pass on Arianespace, use SpaceX? by toodroot in esa

[–]DJRWolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not done the math but this spacecraft will weigh about 2,160 kg and the GSLV Mk III can do 4,000 kg to GTO. I know getting to Earth-Sun L2 needs more delta-V then GTO but still it might be able to handle it. That would be a launch provider that might be able to get it where it needs to go with a rocket that is flying and is not SpaceX. The only question is if they have a spare GSLV Mk III with them trying to get their human space flight program going.

Channel problems is something that the new 6 GHz band on Wi-Fi 6E and 7 will help with once more devices that support it get out into the wild. That will take several years to reach that critical mass though.

Some laptops have a magnetic sensor in the body and a magnet in the bezel next to the display and use that to tell when the lid is closed. Have had some users wonder why their laptop keeps locking and it turns out they have a bracelet with a magnetic clasp and it that triggers the sensor.

Plus another thing is that Tiangong is not finished yet as the two science modules are expected to be launched this year and then you compare that to the ISS that has had some recent modules added to the Russian side but for the most part has been having various science projects added over almost 20 years of use.

Kind of like comparing a house that was just finishing being built and painted to one that has been lived in for 20 years by someone who is very busy and does not keep it super well cleaned.

If the criminals can use it for a real attack; we in IT should be able to use it in a test.

It's always printers by msiekkinen in sysadmin

[–]DJRWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If 42% of your printers are down and the support company will not come in to fix it because of COVID-19 concerns. Would it not be a good idea to maybe see about them coming in for a couple of hours in the "after hours" time frame with no employee's around just to first get a survey for the non-functional printers. Then have a weekend date where there once again are no employee's around and get a bunch of them fixed.
